Live transcription

Live transcription shows text as a call or meeting happens. Three things to know before you start:

Consent: before turning it on, make sure every participant is aware of the transcription and agrees to it
Audio is not stored: in live mode no recording file is kept — only the text
Not evidence: without a source file there is no hash and no chain of custody — a live transcript is not evidence-grade and cannot go into a court package. Need evidence? Record on a device and upload the file

SRT/VTT captions — every tier

Upload a video and get synchronized SRT/VTT captions with precise per-cue timestamps — on every tier, within your subscription minutes. Fix them in the editor before publishing; exports always use the latest version, for any player.

Accessibility report and caption burn-in — Pro and up

On Pro and up you can also produce an accessibility check report (TXT/DOCX) documenting the captioning work and the quality checks, and an MP4 copy with burned-in captions — accessible in every player and on social media. The source file remains unchanged.

Captions are one of IS 5568's requirements for recorded content — but full compliance depends on your whole service. Consult a certified accessibility professional; nothing here is legal advice.
